Objectives:

• To generate a lot of ideas (good, bad, in-between)
• To make things (again, good, bad, in-between)
• To understand the relationships between messages, audiences, contexts, and technologies
• To apply research methods to the iterative design process

Using blackout poetry, we can reimagine existing texts through practices of subtraction.
Begin this project by referencing one text that you have found particularly inspiring to your approach to visual
communication. You do not necessarily need to agree with all (or any) of the text. However, the text on your final form should be reflective of your philosophical approach to graphic design.
